Set the applet on B-Spline, and click in the drawing area to lay down successive points. When you have enough points, you can adjust them by dragging. Although this is not exactly the same as drawing with scanners, it is very similar. There is no blanking, and the data markers clutter the drawing space, but you will get an idea of the issues involved in making laser art.
